Everything confirmed about Songs of Glimmerwick — out now on PC — plus the console question answered and every post-launch patch summarised.

Quick answer
Songs of Glimmerwick is out now on Steam (PC), released September 30, 2026. Full price is $24.99 — the 10% introductory offer ($22.49) ran until October 14, 2026. The current build is update 1.06 (October 12, 2026).
Is it on Switch, PS5 or Xbox?
No console version has been announced. Eight years of development and one launch later, Eastshade has still only confirmed PC.
| Platform | Status (checked October 7, 2026) |
|---|---|
| Windows PC (Steam) | Out now — September 30, 2026 |
| Nintendo Switch | Not announced |
| PS5 / Xbox | Not announced |
| Mac / Linux | Not listed on the store page |
The studio's previous game, Eastshade, did come to consoles eventually, so a port is plausible — but nothing is announced, and we will not dress a rumor up as a fact. This is the question readers ask us most, so the table above carries the date it was last checked.

Version history
- 1.06 (October 12) — the headline fix is a showstopper that could trap you in your dorm while Clover is drafting with Peony; it hit saves that had finished Codrin's quest the day before, or that were about to start the Forbidden Potions quest. Aya's normal conversation hub is reachable again, which also unblocks the clothes shop and Reed's quest. The quick transfer button now registers Florian's fish rewards, and the note signs off by saying a sort button for the inventory is in the works after reading feedback.
- 1.05 (October 10) — leaving Summer Fest early could soft-lock the festival, and that is closed; saving and loading during the Arthur broom sequence no longer leaves your avatar invisible; the fish minigame help option is named correctly; Arthur now actually takes the 15,000 when you buy the broom; and an infinite money exploit around Sera's shop and the Esteemed Baker is fixed.
- 1.04b (October 8) — an item info card in the shop, a quick transfer button for controllers, and a modal popup in the demo warning you that you launched the demo instead of the full game; the eye of the wildcrafter ability description was corrected; an accessibility setting in the options makes the fishing minigame easier; the View and Menu remapping bug is fixed; fixes for Theo being hard to interact with when delivering the mud pie, being locked out of Florian's bookshop, a soft lock when interacting with an NPC on the way to the escape-rope portal, and two protections against the "Use right stick to position" tutorial modal soft-locking; German text errors and English typos cleaned up.
- 1.03 (October 7) — Kavita now sells replacement watering cans; a UI note marks songs that have no practiceable version (the notes name Alchemical Resonance); feather-and-dough recipes fixed; apple toss made easier; Seaflower Festival diving spots can be clicked now, not just spacebar.
- 1.02 (October 4) — a new option to disable the custom NPC cameras ("zooming when talking"), with a warning that some speakers may go off-screen; mountain bees no longer sellable; a dorm soft-lock and a cobble-path regression fixed.
- 1.01 (October 2) — cobblestone paths can be mined with a pickaxe; Baker's Touch was lowering stats and now raises them; Clover's winter band-concert and duplicate-Clover bugs fixed; missing Chinese glyphs fixed.
- September 30, 2026 — the full game releases, 10% off until October 14, demo stays available.
- 0.484 — demo patch: Song of Tilling made easier; watering-can soft lock fixed.
- 0.465–0.466 — regional keyboard bindings rewritten; Esc backs out of menus; M opens the map.
- April 7, 2026 — the demo launches.
- June 2026 — Next Fest build; over 150,000 wishlists reported.
